Wife and I both had Country Fried Steak. We were both quite happy. It came with green beans, mashed potatoes, and Texas Toast. The sweet tea was perfect.

If you are ever in the little town of Newland, North Carolin,. Stop into San Dee's Cafe. The service was great and so was our food. The people there are so friendly and helpful. I want to go back there to explore the town and country side.

We walked in there 30 mins before they closed. We had just got into town after a long drive and everything else was closed or closing because of the weather. The fine ladies at the register were very accommodating and friendly. Thank you ladies! Also they have very good pizza!!

Best hotdog ever and fries I’ve ever had! Delicious and the places sanitation rating is Fantastic! :D

Was impressed. Wide variety on the menu, prices weren't bad, and got the food quick. Counter service is great for someone just traveling thru. The curly fries were on point

We were on a day trip vacation. This was a nice friendly place in a cool little town. If you're in the area go check it out.

Great little spot to grab a good bite to eat. Fries, burgers, hotdogs, patty melts, shakes...it is all good! They even have a salad bar!

Good food, good service, good price

I will have to say, I enjoyed eating here. Kinda old school booths, and right beside the road ( Main Street ). I had a burger with fries and it was cooked just right. Very good. My wife had the fish plate and it was good too. Not fresh fish but good. The ladies were very nice and not much wait time. Milkshakes are Delicious too. I would recommend this place. We will be back.

Their peanut butter milkshake is particularly good. My husband enjoyed his vanilla milkshake. Also, the fries we ordered we're extra hot and crispy.

My co-workers recommended and I was quite pleased with it. I had the hamburger steak. It was tender with a good charbroiled flavor. I also enjoyed the coleslaw, potato wedges which traditionally I don't even like, and the Texas toast. The tea was sweet, but not too much so. A little disappointed there was no gravy or onions on the steak, but it was good anyway. I still don't understand why there is a line for a tip on the receipt, in the fact that you come up to get your own food, nonetheless, still a good experience.

Food was freshly cooked and delicious.

Ordered a club sandwich today pretty simple right. Three pieces of toast ham, turkey, bacon,lettuce,tomatoes and cheese. Don’t even know what I got, it was more like a soggy ham and turkey sandwich with hot lettuce?

Good food, consistent every time. Giving 4 stars only because they don’t offer a to go salad bar. That would make it even better.

Ordered 4 sandwiches paid almost $50 and they don’t even come with fries (or any side) as I was expecting they answer the phone while you wait in line and they charge you extra for using a credit card just moved to the area not many choice as far as restaurants go after this experience be eating at home a lot while living here they way overcharge here not worth the money for sure

Sandees is very expensive, it takes so long to get your food and it makes you feel like you have drank a gallon of grease after you eat anything. A meal for three people not including drinks is around 30 bucks, which is way to pricy. If you want a quick and easy meal just go to McDonald’s or Hardee’s...

I don’t usually order chicken tenders but someone recommended them and OH MY Goodness!! They were delicious!!!! I’ll definitely eat here again when I’m through the area.

They took good care of me here. Went off menu for chili fries (no cheese) with bacon and topped with a burger patty. That should be on their menu. Thanks ladies for fixing me up and watching out for my milk allergies.

Food was good, but overpriced, especially to eat off of paper plates. I was charged a fee to use a credit card and I didn't see a sign stating that policy

I love their pizza burgers! They are so yummy. Every time I come up from Tennessee to visit with my family, my mom will purchase me one.

Atmosphere is nice. Staff is friendly. Nice menu. Wings are huge. Hot Honey Teriyaki nice sweet heat. Philly is smaller than I thought it would be but good. Good with their ranch dressing. Fries are good. Others in party had chicken sandwich and was good. Salad bar looked good but a little small. Great place.

Tucked away place to eat home cooked southern food

Great place to grab lunch or dinner. Recommend their ultimate chicken sandwich, hand battered nuggets, or burgers.

Very clean inside and friendly staff. Ordered the chicken tender plate which was excellent. Not something they bought from a wholesaler pre-breaded. Light crisp coating and cooked fresh. Fries were great also. Reasonable prices for the quality and quantity.

I come to this area often, and I am no local. However this place has quality food in a wonderful Christian atmosphere. I honestly quit coming for a few months, but beyond the food there is an amazing brunette young lady who has not been there for a while. I went in the other day and she was back! She made my day, I’ve never met someone who is so sweet and so inspiring, I am so glad she’s back, she makes that place so much more than just somewhere to eat!

Our go to place for lunch when on vacation in the mountains. Good food, nice employees and decent prices. Been coming here for years and will continue to come for many more.

Great food, and the employees they hire are awesome. The wait time can be a drag though, during busy hours. That aside, I have never gotten anything but good food from them. 8 out of 10 would reccomend.

Thankful that my family could sit down and "break bread" together. The food was great, service was a little slow but one needs keep in mind that the food is prepared fresh.I'm looking forward to when they're allowed to have their salad bar open again.

They have the best food and the best people who work there.

Good hamburger sub just wish it had bacon slices instead of bacon crumbs. Has very good milkshakes and can usually mix any kind you want. But there's a pretty good wait time on the food due to being so busy.

San Dee's has my FAVORITE salad bar!!! They also have great burgers, chicken, and fries!!!
